Island moorings use:
As part of the renewed effort of rigorous maintenance of ground tackle, the club will be making sure that there are two so-called island moorings.
These are moorings for use by members who are coming in from the islands and need to temporarily tie up while running errands.
The idea is to reduce the likelihood of someone having to leave their boat at the dock for an extended period.
These moorings will be clearly marked and the club’s dinghy can be used to get back and forth if needed.
These are for members living on the islands in the bay who do not have personal moorings in the cove and are to be used for a maximum of 24 hours at one time.
