A number of members have expressed an interest in a classified section where they'd be able to post items for sale, houses for rent, babysitters needed, rides sought, and so forth.

Here it is, and here's how it works:

1.  Send an email to wanted@deerisleyachtclub.com outlining the particulars.  We hope you'll brief, but we'll contact you if your ad seems long to us.

Remember that this is not yet a secure site.  Posting your email and/or including your name, address or telephone number exposes that information to public view.  Please take care when you do.

2.  Your ad will then be posted on the club's site for sixty days, beginning with the day we post it. 

If you've been successful with your ad and you've been able to sell your item or meet your need, we hope you'll let us know so it can be removed. 

Otherwise your ad will appear for 60 days, after which it will be removed.

An ad can be reposted, but you'll have to send another email to start the clock again.

3.  It should go without saying, but the lawyers say we have to, so we will: no service or item offered for sale can be prohibited by or be in violation of any local, state or federal law.  To read the club's terms of use in full, click here.
